European Excess Death Soars in 0-14 Year Olds Following Vaccine Rollout

Several European countries rolled out COVID vaccination for 5-11-year-olds in December 2021. According the the New York Post:

More than 30,000 vaccination appointments for under-12s have been booked by Greek parents, among them Education Minister Niki Kerameus. 

And

Authorities in Spain have set ambitious targets for vaccinating younger children before Christmas and the customary family gatherings. Nearly 90% of the country’s residents age 12 and older have received two vaccine doses. 

Nearly a year later, excess death across Europe for that age group has soared according to the European Union Health Tracking website EuroMOMO:

Excess death is higher than in 2020 and 2021 across all age groups but dramatically higher in people aged 0-14.
