Did Congressman-Elect Luke Letlow Die From COVID or COVID Treatment?

Congressman-elect Luke Letlow (R-LA) passed away Tuesday from the COVID-19, according to his campaign manager Andrew Bautsch.

The News Star reported, “LSU Health Shreveport Chancellor G.E. Ghali said Letlow died from a heart attack following a procedure related to the infection.” (emphasis added).

“It’s devastating to our entire team,” Ghali said.

“He had no underlying conditions,” Ghali said. “It was just COVID.”

But did Letlow die from COVID or the treatment to COVID?

Letlow announced on December 18 he had tested positive for the virus.

His wife posted on Facebook Sunday, “While Luke continues his treatment and remains in stable condition, the doctors have told us the road to recovery and the length of time is hard to predict and different for everyone.”

It is reported that Letlow was undergoing the standard treatment protocol of steroids and antiviral drug Remdesivir.

He was in critical condition but had recently shown signs of improvement when he, “apparently suffered a cardiac event this evening that was refractory to all resuscitation efforts,” Ghali said.

The new drug Remdesivir has been touted as the cure of COVID but recipients during clinical trials suffered adverse events:

Adverse events reported in 70 or 74% of patients who received a 5- or 10-day remdesivir regimen, respectively; serious adverse events (e.g., respiratory distress or failure, septic shock) reported in 21 or 35%, respectively, and grade 3 or greater adverse events reported in 30 or 43%, respectively. Drug discontinued because of adverse events in 4% of patients in 5-day group and 10% of patients in 10-day group. Most common adverse events overall were nausea (10 or 9%), acute respiratory failure (6 or 11%), increased ALT concentrations (6 or 8%), and constipation (7% in both groups),

The CDC and many hospital protocols are using Remdesivir instead of other, less expensive drugs such as Ivermectin.

Dr. Pierre Kory testified to Ivermectin’s effectiveness in a DoD hearing, stating, “Mountains of data have emerged from many centers and countries around the world, showing the miraculous effectiveness of Ivermectin. It basically obliterates transmission of this virus. If you take it, you will not get sick.”

The more data that is released, the more it appears that no one should die from COVID-19 anymore. They are dying from the treatment of COVID-19.
