The BBC version is not quite “The Evolution Diet” of this book series (important differences are the increased consumption of meat and fish, which is a central point of the book but only shows up in the end of the BBC series as they emulate ape’s evolution). However, there are many great points to take away from this production:

  • Eating only raw fruits and vegetables will lower your blood cholesterol levels immediately
  • It takes a lot of natural foods to make up the calorie content we require in today’s lifestyle
  • Most people eat drastically differently than our evolutionary ancestors ate
