Great 3 Mile Trail Run on Jekyll Island
Traveling while a runner is always an adventure. Finding a new run can be difficult but always rewarding.
If you’re vacationing on Jekyll Island, Georgia, there will be plenty of options since the island is chock full of wooded trails.
When I first got there, I resigned myself to running on the sidewalk off the road near our guest house. There were no trees and it wasn’t much to look at. It was brutal.
I saw a driveway heading off to what looked like a gorgeous wooded area so I took that. Lucky I did because it led to a wooded trail, which led to a gorgeous pedestrian trail called Tupelo Trail. I was in heaven!
