Were the South Pacific Measles Outbreaks Caused by a Defective Vaccine?
We saw this meme being passed around social media recently implying that the recent measles outbreaks in Samoa, Fiji, and Tonga were caused or at least connected to a vaccine shipment by UNICEF.
The measles vaccine has been known to cause “measles-like symptoms“, code for the vaccine causes the measles. And it has been known to cause measles that can be spread to other people, but we have no information on the source of the vaccines or their integrity.
UNICEF has not gotten back to us about this as of this version.
