Will Allen is an urban farmer and advocate of local food. He ran the now defunct Growing Power, Inc, a non-profit that helped teach farming skills to youth. On his small urban farm in blustery Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he grew upwards of 1 million pounds of food year round. Here’s his presentation:
