Should I Get The Flu Shot?

We’ve covered inoculation here at The Evolution Diet and tried to keep a fair and balanced approach, examining the facts and trying to avoid logical fallacies. It’s clear that while there are benefits to some vaccines, there are well-defined risks and there is an entire government-sponsored industry propagandizing society to ignore those risks. The most controversial of the vaccines is the flu vaccine.

image587980xAn article by Kelly Brogan, MD from 2013 entitled A Shot Never Worth Taking: The Flu Vaccine cites two studies that should make everyone question the efficacy of this common vaccine.

1. Increased risk of noninfluenza respiratory virus infections associated with receipt of inactivated influenza vaccine.

This double-blind study showed that children who had been given the flu vaccine suffered other no-flu viruses over the following 9 months. In other words, the flu vaccine may have prevented children from getting the flu, but made them more likely to get other viruses.

2. Association between the 2008–09 Seasonal Influenza Vaccine and Pandemic H1N1 Illness during Spring–Summer 2009: Four Observational Studies from Canada

This meta-analysis showed that the H1N1 vaccine actually increased the incidence rate of said vaccine.

As Dr. Brogan writes the medical establishment just doesn’t know what it’s doing:

As those of us who shake our heads in pain and frustration watching the sheep get herded off the cliff, we refrain: these agents cannot be considered “safe and effective” and also “unavoidably unsafe” as the government agencies would have us accept. They are avoidably unsafe, in fact, when you don’t use them as part of your healthcare.
